Cambridge School Update: May half term, 2023

Updated: Jul 11, 2023

Cambridge School updates

It has been another exciting half term in Cambridge. Many of our students are in the process of building up to exams or submitting their project work for their qualifications. One of our students has worked tirelessly to complete their Higher Project Qualification and we are all incredibly proud of his commitment, progress and achievements! There are still more exams to come next half term and we will notify students and families of the dates for upcoming exams once bookings are confirmed.

It remains key for students to maintain their attendance at high levels as we make the final push of the year towards qualifications for many of our students. Where students are not in attendance, we will always try to contact the student (18+) or family (under 18) to check the reason for absence. Please let us know of any absence by emailing dee.warwick@in-toto-ed.com as, if we continue to struggle to make contact, we may need to consider unannounced visits to confirm wellbeing.

We have also said goodbye to one of our members of the team this week. Shannon Dry, familiar to our students taking the beauty course, has left us to begin new challenges. We wish her all the best for the future and are investigating exciting new opportunities within the team.

This half term we have continued to make use of our new coffee training setup. This week one of our students has been combining their interest in coffee making and art; by adding foamed milk to espresso and topping with a little chocolate powder for detailing they were able to make some brilliant designs!
