This first part of the Summer Term has been busy but also successful. I’m so proud of the staff team and the students, as we have achieved more than we could’ve ever imagined.
Students have been busy preparing for their exams and as part of the preparation, with everyone attending an assembly to discuss exams stress. We looked at the different types of stress and ways that we could manage stressful situations.
Excitingly, we have a brand new common room and an art room; we have all enjoyed using these new areas of the school!
We now have a whole provision assembly every Wednesday, and it has been fantastic to see some of our students presenting topics to the group. Topics covered include World Art Day, Stress Awareness, Mental Health Awareness Month, Cultural Day, Deaf Awareness, and Earth day.
Finally, we are delighted to share that we have some additional staff who have joined our team; Kyriakos, Holly and Jack who are Teaching Assistants, and Phil who has taken on the role of School Caretaker and Maintenance.
Thank you for all of your support this half term. I look forward to another successful, final half term of the academic year.
